Ive lived at the Woodlands for seven years. The new management has totally changed these apartments into a home. They have done so many updates and are always friendly and take care of things fast. I love living here now. The pool area, the grounds, the childrens play space and dog walk are spectacular. I love saying Im going home instead of saying Im going to my apartment

This place and its staff are definitely spot on perfect! Me and my husband got scammed on house so with not much left in our budget we were able to have enough left to at least go back Into a apartment setting. Rosa was our girl from the start she made us feel welcome and comfortable. And knowing our situation she made it easy for us to be able to determine this to be our new home. She made such a stressful time for us turn into a gigantic weight lifted off our shoulders and for that we can not thank you enough your property is beautiful and quiet and your team members and environment you all created are above and beyond expectations. Thank you, JASON & KAYLA

This is a wonderful property to live on & the property management & staff are excellent. The apartments are extremely spacious and the grounds are well maintained. Maintenance is always there when you have an issue & its great to have a constable on property too. A very safe community & truly a great place to live and raise a family. The schools around here are the best in Arlington. I definitely recommend The Woodlands of Arlington.

Im a current resident at the woodlands and wanted to leave a comment on their excellent customer service. Every time Ive asked for maintenance on appliances in my apartment Ive immediately received a checkup. Also the office has always been helpful with any questions Ive had treating me politley and with respect.. In particular the front office leasing agent Aide Pastrana. I currently have a lease for one year and dont plan on moving anywhere else until Im able to buy a house. Keep up the good work yall.

DO NOT MOVE IN UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH ROACHES. When we first inspected the house there were dead roaches in the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. We were assured that it would be bombed and sprayed. However, the people that come to exterminate the place dont do a thorough job and roaches were seen DAILY. Seeing dead roaches should of been our clue to leave but we were first time renters so we didnt knew what to do. The first few weeks was horrible, we saw a clear sack burst and baby bugs overflowed from it. So disgusting. Onetime we left and came back to roaches in the pet bowl and scatter away when the lights turned on. Living through these conditions made me more of a clean freak. I was so scared of having roaches crawl over my kitchenware and appliances I never used the cabinets and plastic everything. We tried everything to rid of the roaches like being sure to throw away our trash daily, vacuuming frequent, keeping the sink clean and dry, always keeping things sealed, using our personal pest spray, baits, and traps didnt stop the infestation. The number of roaches seen went down as time went on but we always saw about a dozen daily. Later on we realized other tenants also had roach infestations and it was pretty common. There were always notices from the apartment complex that your unit and multiple other surrounding units needed spraying. Another thing I didnt like was that they promoted that the apartment was newly renovated but the kitchen and floor looked poor quality and you could tell they just painted over old wood, holes and such. The kitchen appliances werent upgraded like they promised during move in. In terms of the neighbors there were constant times there would be people outside loud and little kids playing basketball hitting peoples cars and at times throwing the ball up high enough to hit the top of the apartment gutters. Later on we suspected there were people doing drugs living near us because I saw syringes laying around the dog park. The house shared vents with surrounding apartments so often times we smelled weed coming from the vents when we would come home. The apartment complex sent out a notice but I doubt they founded the people. The only good things about this apartment complex was that they attended to work orders on time and the workers were nice. And the new management has brought new changes to the complex. I heard from my neighbor that the complex was worst by previous management with them not caring about the tenants and the complex used to been infested with rats and roaches. The new management got rid of the rats but the roaches are still around. This apartment complex has a pretty bad infestation problem. Im so glad to move out and my new place has no signs of roaches. Also the moving process was difficult because I had to take extra precautions not to transfer the roaches into my new apartment. Pretty exhausting and never again we will deal with this apartment complex.

I have enjoyed my time living here! Aide and Maria are always very helpful in regards to any questions or concerns I may have and are quick to getting things fixed! A couple of days ago I brought my friend to see if any units were available and Aide was very helpful and even took us to go see one of the floor plans! I definitely recommend renting here!

Moved in back in July and these first several months have been rather poor. Before we signed the lease, we were promised that the unit in question would have washer/dryer connections. However, after moving in, no such connections exist and the best management could do is say Oh, we meant we had it for other units. The on-site laundry facilities are expensive and don t work. When we moved into the unit, half of the power outlets do not work. The drains of the bathroom sinks and shower were clogged and the AC system broke after two weeks due to wear from the previous occupants. We noted this to management and the only thing that was fixed was the AC. The lawns and outdoors of the apartment are poorly kept. Trash often overflows from the dumpsters leaving the parking lots a mess. The carpeting on the exterior hallways between the upper-level apartments is frayed and has duct tape holding it in place. There is a problem with wasps and roaches. Tenants with dogs rarely pick up feces from the premises. And despite management requesting quiet hours late at night, it s not uncommon for other tenants to hold parties or blast music late at night. Once our twelve-month lease is up, we plan on moving somewhere worth the cost.

Ive lived here eight years now and have seen many management changes. WAC Management took over about a year and a half ago. They came in and immediately started renovations. They really have done an excellent job. The improvements are awesome and they have done them without inconveniencing the tennants! It has been a smooth and absolute beautiful transition! Great central location with beautiful grounds you cant find in apartment homes these days! Management is friendly and always addresses any issues promptly. I feel safe living here and I love my neighbors!

The area is convenient however this complex raises rent rates with EVERY renewal of contract. For the past 5 years with each renewal this complex raises our rent and this year rent increased over $140. The money isn t worth it considering what you re paying for and the office is very difficult and not accommodating . This use to be a very nice place to live but WAK Management cares more about money than people which I have never come across in all my years living in Texas and as a renter. If you have no choice, this is a good place to live especially if you have children going to school in the area. The littlest things come with an added price so why you may pay a good price today, give it 1 year and every renewal after that and all of a sudden, what you pay in rent won t add up to what your income brings in. Oh they have 15 month lease term which no one tells you but it s available. I had to find this out after living here for a long time.
